Steering Column Upper to Chassis Assembly
Assembly instructions for the upper column mount to chassis assembly.

Instructions
Position the bearing plate (Part #1) on the chassis, by aligning the 2 holes.
2. Insert the 2 screws (Part #5) into the holes of the chassis and through #1. Put the 2 nuts (Part #6) onto the screws and tighten.
3. Insert the rod end (Part #2) into the central hole of #1. The shank of the rod end should be flush with the top surface of #1. In this position, no threads should be visible when looking at the top surface of #1.
Put the nut (Part #4) onto the threads of #2 until it hits the bearing plate. Do not tighten.
09/19 Revision note: Not shown in photos, but add a second (#4) onto the rod end to act as a jam nut, tighten the second nut up against the first.
