Steering Column Lower to Chassis Assembly
Assembly instructions for the steering column lower bearing plate to the chassis.

Instructions
Place the bearing plate lower (Part #3) on the chassis (Part #1) such that the 2 holes of #3 are aligned with the 2 holes of #1.
2. Insert the 2 screws (Part #5) into the holes of # 3. Thread the 2 nuts (Part #6) onto the screws and tighten.

3. Insert the rod end (Part #2) into the central hole of #3. Position it such that the start of the shank of the rod end is flush with the top surface of #3, as shown. In this position, no threads of the rod end should be visible when looking at the top surface of #3.
4. Put the 3/4” nut (Part #4) onto the threads of #2 until the nut hits #3. Do not tighten.
09/19 revision note: Not shown in photos; add second (#4) onto rod end to act as jam nut, tighten against the first nut.
