Report on the testing of tensile strength
ASTM D3039_Standard Test Methods for Tensile Properties , will put this in the right place just going to have it here for now.
Abstract/Summary

Introduction
This test includes evaluating the tensile stress and strain of our carbon fibre sandwich constructions by means of a tensile test. We will use the results and compare them with FEA data to see if our manufacturing conforms to simulations. The failure modes we expect will occur include (let's talk about this because idk what the exact names of some of them would be, I can just picture them in my mind).
