Driver Compartment
Goals
- Design and prototype a driver control system for MSXII
- Make the driver controls system intuitive, so that anyone can turn on the car without instructions
- Accommodate driver up to 6ft (1.83m) tall
Background and strategic fit
Driver controls are critical to the correct functioning of the solar car. It is the central interface for the driver to control the car.
The driver controls system needs to be prototyped so that we get a good feel on how the driver controls system work in the car.
