Discussions that need to happen:

  • Integrating thermoforming with door molds (@Connor Hawkins )

  • Which foam would we be using? MSXII foam? Etc.

  • Where else can we can get our mold CAD reviewed?

    • Machine shops that are willing to machine our molds can review

    • Previous mech leads? Most of the feedback has been taken, can still reach out

  • Priority for SI: Machine shops for CNC-ing panels MUST be found before end of term for next term’s panels

  • Thermoforming: can we just use polycarbonate for some of the Windows?

 

Follow ups:

  • need to have a core team for august post exams to get the 2nd side panel done

  • Need to lock in CNC sponsors by the end of the term

  • Panel stack up has to be done in house - no sponsor is willing to do this

    • Foam could make this process a lot easier

  • B-Bulkheads 1 & 2: do we have integration plans ready @kimberly

  • Wheel Cover Trimming: Kimberly & Min to sort out how it will be done

  • Can the Windshield be reduced to a curved panel instead of looping around the sides? Can we check driver visibility?

  • @Minqian Lu Put mold cad in a Grabcad folder to organize and centralize
