MPPT

 

  • V Output 18-33 V

  • V in: 10-30 V

  • Max Efficiency:

    • VOC boost ratio > 1.1 times

  • Minimum voltage: 18 V

  • Constraints for Module sizes

    • Max. Output Voltage dependent on number of modules

    • V0 = 151.2/n, n=number of modules in series

  • Split between Modules 3 and 4

  • Cap: 236 cells for 5 m^2 surface area

  • Each solar cell = 2.7 V, connect into series up to 18 V

  • Adjust each MPPT’s output voltage separately

  • Refer to last years calculations: PV Array Layout

  • MPPT’s Used:

    • Options: same as MSXII or create own using same chip

Voc = 0.721 V

n = 6

Vo = 25.2 V

Vin = 0.721*27 = 19.467 V

B = 25.2/19.467 = 1.294
