Coloured LEDs claim 120° visibility range.

• How far into the vehicle should the lights be?

  • Air space in light needed?

    • If yes, will need to be set further into the vehicle

  • Heat sink?

    • MSXIV reported lights heating up pretty quickly when run

  • Upwards and downward angle regulations are pretty small, will really only need to worry about the sidewards angle being blocked by car

    • If using strip, may not be issue?

  • Will there be reflectors inside the light fixture?

    • Metallic reflectors, or matte white reflectors?

      • Reference seems to be using a letter size piece of paper

      • Most cars use concave mirrors behind light source

  • Transmittance of light cover - Can’t be too murky or more space will be needed to double up on LEDs

  • Cover needs to be a certain size

    • Very small protrusion would impact aerodynamics more than larger, rounded protrusion?

• No angle-related issues for running/brake lights

• Shouldn’t be any issues with front turn indicator if they are sloped alongside the front

• Rear turn indicator may be issue - Current drawing has 60° outwards, need 80°
