How do we optimize the space in the car

Names:

Problem:

Keeping items brought into the car in a location that does not compromise the comfort of the passengers.

Ideation:

Behind back seats
Underneath seats
Back of seats
In-between the seats
Overhead storage
Side seat storage
In front of car storage (frunk)
Catamaran storage

for the cup holder i would choose a wire (its just simpler and cleaner and could allow for adjusting the diameter)

for the compartment underneath the armrest i would choose wood (just nice simple curved box where one could place their keys and phone. I would also put a lid (lid made of either wood with foam on top) on top of the compartment. The storage compartment should be combined with the arm rest to make better use of the space.


The table positioning is cool
I thought the front storage was very interesting and the way that the catamaran in our car is is very similar to how the storage/table seems to be designed in the Mercedes.

Cup holder in between seat in order to leave more room for the screens

better than beside (to avoid cluttering the armrest area and to avoid making individual pods (encouraging communication))

Storage in the catamaran

the front allows for invisible storage without invading the leg room area
the back area of the catamaran can be used as a table (so that the passengers can eat)
cleaner lines and less building into the seats (could have slide out tables as well)
