Be able to remove the trunk panel (minimal unscrewing required)
Deploys quickly to maximize charging time
Packaging (fitting it into the space of the car)
Integration with chassis
Minimal interference (“zero” panel gap)
Allows for various ranges tilt reach ideal angle for charging
Panels should not be able to come loose due to vibrations under any circumstances
MSXII Soft Requirements
Elegant design (simple, door hinge/piano hinge)
Hinge point is at least the edge of the panel
Can attach hinge to bridge or chassis
Secure
Ease of manufacturing
Weight
Costs (material, method of manufacturing, etc.)

Explore new mounting methods to mount hinge (chassis bars unlikely to be added)
Work with electrical to claim a location in trunk space/chassis
Determine mechanism for removing trunk panel
Finalized CAD for hinge
