MSXIV battery modules conform to the following design guidelines:

  • Every module must be identical
  • Easy removal
  • Safe
  • Easy to manufacture (DFM)
  • Easy to assemble (DFA)
  • Easy to test (DFT)
  • Minimal metal tools required for removal (for electrical safety)
  • Minimal loose bolts when removing modules
