This document will highlight what brake fluid to use with our master cylinder with purchasing options.

Our Master Cylinder:

GS Compact Integral Master Cylinder (0.62 Bore Size)

  • Willwood recommends either Wilwood Hi-Temp 570 Brake Fluid or Willwood EXP 600 Plus Racing Brake Fluid

  • CANNOT use DOT 5 silicone brake fluid if brake fluid outside of willwood variants are used

  • CAN use DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid

NEW DOT 5.1 HI-TEMP 570 RACING BRAKE FLUID - $15.42 (16.9oz)

EXP600 PLUS Brake Fluid - $24.79 (16.9oz)

  • This option is most likely overkill
