CAD Practice
The way that this practice is works is that you will open the step file in SolidWorks, and not derive the feature tree. You need to recreate the part from scratch. You can take whatever measurements you need to from the step file, but cannot use the auto-generate feature tree option from SolidWorks unless you need a hint. Though I’d recommend asking one of the mech leads first. No deadline on the practice for this, I was given an assignment like this last term on co-op and I found it a fun puzzle to work through.
