Instructions:

1. Using a lathe, shave off 0.6mm of flange thickness of the bushing [#7] so that the bushing will fit in the clevis.

Outer clevis [#3] made transparent to show existing overlap with bushings [#7]

2. Insert bushings [#7] into the clevis ends of the rear trailing arm [#1]

3. Install inner and outer trailing arm clevises [#2 & #3] and coilover clevis [#4] to the chassis

4. Insert the M8x1.25x60 partially threaded bolt [#8] through the bushings [#7], the ends of the rear trailing arm [#1], and the inner clevis [#2]. It is important to insert the bolt through the inner clevis first and in the direction shown to avoid clearance issues.

a) Rear trailing arm [#1] made transparent to show how the bushings [#7] sit.

b) Thread on nut [#9] to end of bolt [#8]

c) Repeat for outer clevis [#3].

5. Connect the rear brake rotor [#11] to the motor [#5] by threading in the M3x0.5x50 shoulder bolts [#4]

Rotor (#5) made transparent in this view.

b) There should be about 1.65mm of space for the rotor to float.

6. Create the shock bearing shim [#4] out of sheet metal. Insert shim[#18] and spherical bearing[#17] into the shock absorber coilover end.

7. Insert M5x0.8x1.0 shoulder bolt [#21] through coilover clevis [#4], shock absorber coilover end [#6] and M5 washers [#19&#20]. Place the M5 polycarbonate washers (13mm OD) inside the clevis, and the M5 steel washers (18mm OD) outside. Thread on M5 steel hex nut [#22] onto the end of the bolt. Note that the shoulder bolt used to connect the coilover clevis will have to be slightly longer (40mm shoulder length) than the one used to connect the trailing arm (35mm shoulder length).

a) Repeat for the other end of the shock absorber to connect it to the rear trailing arm.

8. Connect the rear trailing arm [#1] to the motor [#5] by threading in the M8x1.25x55 partially threaded socket head screws [#10].

Shock absorber [#6] and brake rotor [#11] hidden in these views.

9. Install brake pads to caliper assembly.

10. Place the caliper assembly [#12] around the rotor [#11], and connect the caliper to the rear trailing arm by threading in the M8x1.25x35 bolts [#14] with M8 washers [#15].

b) Thread the M8x1.25 nuts [#16] onto the end of the bolts to secure [#15]

11. Done
