The power distribution board, better known as Chaos, is at the heart/brain of the electrical system. It is responsible for both distributing power to the majority of the car and also monitoring messages that relate to changing the state of the power system and enacting those changes by switching relays.

Responsibilities

• Control the distribution of 120 V power in the vehicle via relays
• Monitor the battery management system (Plutus Heartbeat) and ensure the electrical system is protected
• Control the horn
• Route power between the array, battery and motot controller units
• Monitor the temperature in the wheel wells
• Handle emergency shutdown, startup
