reason for this project is so that mech can get real data about how the suspension performs to influence design of the next car, although I think on the hw side the goal should be to make something as simple as versatile as possible. So for me that looks like:

• small board, easy mounting to wherever (just vhb tape?)

• very simple firmware, sends raw IMU data over can, little to no onboard processing

• two connections, CAN in/out, and 12V power
