Setup: The fan was held in an upright position connected to the Keysight DC power supply.

For air speed: Using battery-box set-up (cardboard box enclosure) with an anemometer connected to the end

Two Fans in Series

  • at 13V the fans blow very inconsistently for 60s until coming to a complete stop

  • Powering at 14V seems to provide inconsistent results

    • only starts-up 50% of the time (either taking some time to start or does not start at all)

    • takes around anytime from 10s to 30s to start-up

  • Startup times for 15V is also inconsistent starting-up

    • can take anywhere from 8s to 45s for the fans to properly blow
