A significant portion of the team’s budget is made up of internal funding available to student organizations and projects within the University of Waterloo. Internal funding ranges from Endowment funds to departments and student organizations such as ENGSOC and WUSA.

We have also previously applied for the Arts Endowment Fund (AEF) and the Accounting and Finance Endowment Fund (AFEF), but were unsuccessful. They both require that the proposal requests funding for one-time events.
Application Processes
All of the above internal funding sources require a written application.
The application is then reviewed and a decision on whether to pass or reject the application is made.
For WEEF, MEF and EngSoc, we are required to prepare a 2-3 minute presentation about our team and funding needs.
For Dean’s Funding, only a written application is required
Final decisions to allocate funding are made within the last 2 months of the respective term.
