Do you have a Midnight Sun Email account? If the answer is yes, then this page is for you.

In order to maintain a standard of professionalism and team branding, it is important that members with Midnight Sun emails set a consistent signatures. There are some subtle details to getting them exactly right, but this guide will give you all the steps required.

Email Signature

First, begin by copying the template below into your gmail signature:

It should look similar to the following:

Next, please manually ensure that your signature is consistent with the following design rules: 

  • All text formatting is that is not overridden below must be "Sans Serif", normal size, and RBG(68,68,68)
  • Your name must be bold and RGB(11,83,148)
  • The team phone number with extension (space before "x") must be hyperlinked and point to "tel:519.888.4567x32978" (no space before "x")
  • All hyperlinks must be explicitly coloured RBG(61,133,198)
  • The Midnight Sun logo must be explicitly sized to "medium" and must link to "http://www.uwmidsun.com"
  • All vertical dividers ("|") must be RGB(255,153,0)

Finally, make sure you select: "Insert this signature before quoted text in replies, and remove the "–" line that precedes it." in your gmail settings

Finally, please also set a professional-ish photo as your account photo. Hi Zack
