This is to track and plan the process of reaching out to other teams and university resources. The goal is to gain feedback and learn effective ways of performing and analyzing CFD on the aerobody.

Priorities

  1. Setting up the simulation
  2. Creating an appropriate mesh
  3. Performing the analysis (settings, parameters, iterations, etc.)
  4. Analyzing results

Note 1) Approach when talking to other teams: what is their current process & how did they choose their parameters?
Note 2) When talking to professors or grad students: Show them our process & reasoning to gather their feedback, what are some key factors to be thinking about, what are we overlooking?

In terms of the actual exchange of information for learning how to set up a simulation (from more preferable to less preferable):

  1. Interactive walk through of simulation from start to finish:
    1. in the bay
    2. in another location
    3. online (i.e screen sharing)
  2. Recorded video of their process
  3. Screenshots
  4. Written instructions
