Term Goals

Finance	Improve and finalize the internal bookkeeping of spending and sponsorship income. Also, implement all monetary spreadsheets into this spreadsheet. Accurately report all the crowdfunding activities.
Marketing	Don’t go dark on social media for 2+ weeks - ever!
Sponsorship	Raise $20,000 CAD in monetary funding for sponsors (external + internal) Reach out to 50 companies to ask for sponsorship

Software & Programs Used

Wave (Finance)	Used by our Finance team members An accounting software we use as a backup for tracking team finances (primary method is using spreadsheets)
Figma	Used for Marketing projects A design and prototyping tool we use to design marketing assets
InDesign	Used for marketing and sponsorship projects A publishing and typesetting tool we use to create templates for reports, whitepapers and other documents

Business Manager - Kristen

About Me
Nice to meet you! I’m in my 2B school term in SYDE, with a background in UI/UX Design and QA. I joined back in Fall 2018 on the Business and Interiors teams. I’m currently the Operations Manager for Midnight sun and am helping lead the Interiors, Hardware and Business teams.

Just about anything! But I guess mostly about Sponsorship tasks, bouncing between subteams, general business work + advice, and UI / UX Design. Also down to chat about sports and my weird music tastes (Cpop, Kpop, Jpop, Instrumental, Classical… yikes)

Business Manager - Catherine

About Me
Hi everyone, my name is Catherine and I am currently in my 2B Computer Engineering academic term. I have joined the team in Fall 2018 and have since worked on various systems on the team, including being the Solar Array lead, working on the electrical and mechanical teams, as well as Strategy. I am currently Midnight Sun’s PM and will be helping lead the Mechanical team, Firmware, and Business teams.

Hello everyone! I am going into my 3A term of GBDA in the fall term. I joined Midnight Sun in the winter 2020 term and have worked on various projects such as our brand book and roll up banner. I love all things graphic design and in my free time, I often make sports graphics for fun.
