Apparently this car was designed by a furniture designer in SolidWorks who did absolutely no aero CFD at all.
Motor Controllers
At ASC 2018, they were using the Mitsuba motor controllers since they weren't able to get their WaveSculptor 22s working correctly.
MPPT
They use the Photon 3 from Dilithium Power Systems.
Telemetry
At ASC 2018, their telemetry system consisted of a multimeter attached to their battery pack that they would read pack voltage off of and radio back, in order to get battery SOC.
Battery
They used VRUZEND battery holders, with locknuts instead of the included nuts. I think they also included rods rod through to secure the pack together and mitigate the effects of vibration?
We had evaluated these when designing MSXII, and had concerns with regards to reliability.
ASC Crew Composition
They brought 19 people with them to the ASC 2018.
