Problem:
The sunlight would cause discomfort for drivers and passengers. It may also lead to danger when driving.
The task is to prevent the sunlight from directly hitting the eyes of the driver and the passengers.
Ideation:
Here would be some sketches and some explanation as to the ideas we generated

Car shades | The image I found is pretty translucent. I wonder if we can include some characteristics from HUD features and act as an info screen. |

Comment:
This article talks about the danger of sun glare as a vision hazard. Some interesting points are:
-Sunlight could be reflected off some material and cause a quick sudden blind. This may affect the choice of using color around the dashboard area as well as the shapes.
-The change of driving route can be an option. The assumption is if the Sun is directly hitting the eyes of the driver, it will hit the solar panel at an angle which decreases the power. (not sure id it is true.)
Wonder if it is possible to guide the driver into other routes using maps or other methods.
