- Come up with clear value proposition for Interior of MS-XIV. Start from high-level and work down to granular details. This should translate into specific key features that will be integrated into the interior's design.
Project Lead: Luc Weimer
Example:
High Level:
- MS-XIV should present itself as a futuristic take to what cars have the potential to become in the next 10 years → the EV of 2030
Implications:
- The interiors should have a look and feel closer to that of a concept car than the current cars on the road today
- Impact styling and materials selection
- Interiors should seamlessly integrate with smartphones, laptops, and tablets
Specific Features:
- Light grey matte material tends to be a common trend within concept cars. This translates to the lack of leather and more suede-like textures being used for upholstery and carpet.
- Less "bubbly" looking shapes and more "architectural" appearances. Tighter corners, use of beveled edges, more minimalistic styling throughout .
- Smartphone phone holders with integrated charging in all 4 seats. Specific integration of wireless charging pads as well as usb ports.
- In-car wifi connectivity that allows for internet connectivity while travelling.
