MSXI was midnight sun's first cruiser class car, it was designed to carry a driver and passenger, travel highway speeds and race in the 2016 American Solar Challenge. While in reality it did not accomplish all that it was intended to do, the team learned a lot in building this car and intends to use it as a platform for prototyping and a means getting new members doing hands on solar car related activities while MSXII is being designed.
