Problem Statement

Build a robust, lightweight, mechanically efficient dynamics system

Goals Provide safety for driver and vehicle through the dynamics loads of highway and city driving. Be as mechanically efficient by reducing rolling resistance, heat generation, and optimizing the system to be lightweight. Provide good driving feel to allow any skill-level driver to pass FSGP dynamics tests, as well as easy of use when on real roads.
Constraints Regulations

Coefficient of Rolling Resistance (Cff) = 0.0015

Pass all dynamics scrutineering tests given: (see individual project pages)

  • 720 kg weight
  • Highway speeds
