Thank you for sending the filled-in questionaire. W have performed a physics requirements simulation based on the data you provided. Herewith I am attaching the analysis summary. Some aspects are based on the driving cycle for your vehicle and desired performance, others on pure physics background laws due to the weight of the vehicle.
If you focus your attention to the first part, you can see the vehicle data, the driving cycle for the simulation conditions and the driving demands that were taken as the basis for the analysis.
The most important data about the torque requirements given your desired performance is shown at the beginning of page 2. The torque requirements there are based on the simulation and show the maximal values you'd need for the given performance.
We were not sure regarding the diameter of the tyre – the 21 inch diameter is rather low for 17 inch rims. For hill-climbing I assumed you have stated in grade so I have changed it to percentage slope. Please let me know if this assumptions were correct.
Considering your vehicle, you would be well situated using only two S300 motors in the rear. This way you would have more than 360 Nm of torque continuously available while the short-term acceleration peaks would be capped at a bit over 700 Nm. The S300 will come with integrated drum brake and can be used in the rear.
We have also rerun the simulation with more demanding acceleration requirements to show you approximatelly what would be possible with the amount of torque from two S300.
This can be our points for further discussion, please let me know any specific questions you might have.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Kind regards,
