Overview of Tasks

  1. Determine which items will be offered.

  2. Establish price points.

  3. Decide on design and material.

  4. Estimate order volume.

  5. Find and contact suppliers and receive quotes.

  6. Collect orders from team.

  7. Confirm details with supplier.

  8. Schedule pickup times.

Required Tools

Ensure you have access to the MS Google Drive Merch Templates

This folder will include:

  • Google Form Template

  • Confirmation of Order

  • Order Invoice

  • Notice of Outstanding Payment

Timeline:

Google Form Template

Only send out once you have a reliable supplier and accurate quotes.

Allow at least 2 weeks for responses.

Confirmation of Order

Is essential and can be different from the invoice since many suppliers prices rely on total volume of orders.

Should be sent out within a day of the Google Form closing.

Order Invoice

This is completed after the final orders are given to the supplier and final prices are determined. Remember to include tax.

The timeline should be over one to two pay cycles.

Notice of Outstanding Payment

Remind those who have not paid for their merch - especially if it is personalized.

One to two days after the deadline is reasonable.

Make sure to regularly post in the Slack channels #general and #core about the status of the merch and upcoming deadlines.

  • Specializes in screen printing.

  • Provides affordable pricing.

  • Willing to do embroidery - however this is not their specialty.

Tentatively: Will commit to another supplier for clothing required for the race.

 Stitch it Up - Milton, ON

  • Costs are higher.

  • Embroidery will likely be of higher quality.

  • Though farther, still a drivable distance.
