MS14 Simulation Accuracy

Below are just rough notes regarding the steps to completing simulation accuracy.

Accuracy of Simulation Steps

Goal: 1 Week - Sept 3rd to complete all items

1	Determine the accuracy of our simulations (Priority) This has not been previous done, and possibly validate/invalidate current work Possible method: use literature values to verify the setup of the simulation is correct Does a similar geometry, test data, etc. exist for the chassis?
2	Review/Complete Mesh Convergence study Check 1 vehicle collision for now Consider all 12 after	Anyone FEA experience	Can be done now ~1 hour
3	Create a presentation and detail all definitions and screenshots to be reviewed. Send slide deck and simulation file prior to meeting.	Kimberly, Min
5	Set up an in-depth meeting with Advisors and run through a simulation (definitions, etc.)	Kimberly, Min
6	Review a simulation used to pass VDR and compare current simulation	Kimberly, Min, Tommy
7	Complete all remaining questions/concerns
8	Set up a meeting with a Prof to learn how to properly set up the simulations
