State of Charge (SoC)
Project Summary
State of Charge (SoC) is the collective set of models that make up the predictive and analytical components of the current amount of battery in the car. With current and voltage data for
Models
SoC Predictions
Based on data received from the battery pack via CAN, calculates the expected amount of energy remaining in the battery pack based on module voltage and current levels. This can also be extrapolated based on previous data and running information to create a prediction of what the OCV graph will look like to represent the charge remaining in the pack over time.
Auxloss
Auxloss is a calculation of the expected energy loss due to vehicle operation. This will be a static value based on a power budget provided by the hardware team.

Approximately 160W consumed by the car during operation.
Data
There should be 5 discharge logs of a few different cells in this zip file. This data was collected as we were choosing which type of cells we should purchase for MSXIV. The LG MJ1 1P tests are the most relevant as those are the cells we selected. The 4P test was done with 4x LG MJ1 cells in parallel, so this would be good to test how well the algorithm tracks a multi-cell pack.
