Thoughts / Ideas / Comments / Changes

  1. Fan configuration needs to be finalized - Talk with Jason He about firewall and Former user (Deleted) / Connor Hawkins (Unlicensed) about ventilation ducts.

    1. Should have a path for connectors in the middle ‘Connection to HV’ section for motor controllers and charger CAN/EVSE

  2. Maybe want to add

  3. Another fuse had to be added (the orange/black box below the contactors) for a fault condition on discharge relay and discharge resistor.

  4. Wall Sections (blue) and the cutouts need to be updated to provide cleaner wiring routing

  5. Solid regions in the HV section are for power distribution, breaking the HV cables into smaller sections to their relevant components

    1. A custom terminal block with thin sheet steel (or aluminum) and weld studs is proposed for this section. A similar configuration will be used as fuse blocks.

    3. Studs preferred over fasteners since the spring washers and regular washers will not fall off when the fuse / wire is removed. They are also used on most commercial fuse blocks.

  6. Fans will also be removed on removal of the board.

  7. Fans will be controlled from Rear Power Distribution. This board will be getting a fan controller (same as on the BMS carrier).

  • Lower Right will be the Power Selection Board

  • Lower Left will be the HV distribution blocks (that connect all of motors, charger, solar, precharge, and DC-DC together)
