Revised Internal Book Categories + Subcategories

Currently, there are many ‘less relevant’ categories, which do not help us with budgetting. We are revisiting these categories while thinking about what costs are most important when planning out a budget for the next car.

New Categories

Category	Description
Aerobody	Shell of vehicle, mostly composite/layup material and consumable costs
Interiors	Any interior design items - could be composite materials,
Chassis	Frame of the vehicle, category mostly for chassis tubes and machining services such as welding done through the E3 machine shop
Dynamics	Rims, steering, etc.
Mech Misc.
Elec Integration	Battery box items
Hardware	PCBs, components, wires, etc.
Array	Solar array, encapsulation
Elec Misc.
Race Fees	American Solar Challenge (ASC) Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP) Other (there has been some discussion about doing a mini race in Canada)
Website	Web hosting services, website builder, domain
Transportation	Transportation to and from race Transportation to and from suppliers (pickup for materials, tools, finished machining, etc.)
Equipment	Any purchased equipment (typically purchased through EngSoc or WEEF)
General	External storage rentals, facilities, etc.
