 In-Depth Simulation Review with Advisors

Create a presentation that details all definitions and screenshots of the current FEA set-up to be reviewed by Advisors.

Send slide deck and simulation file prior to the meeting

Mesh Convergence Study + Review

Perform mesh convergence study on 1 vehicle collision scenario.
If possible, perform mesh convergence on a minimum of 3 different cases.

Create a presentation to be reviewed by Advisors.
Likely reviewed during same meeting as Task No.1

**Look for artifacts, checking residuals, continuity of stress between meshes

Validation Case with Literature Value

Find a literature value of a structural geometry to see if our simulation can generate the same results.

Review Past Simulation / Insert Geometry

Review past simulation files used to pass VDR and compare to current simulation.

If time permits, insert geometry of current chassis into past simulation file/setup to see if results stay the same.
