Solar Array testing will do exactly what it sounds like - test the performance of our solar cells. We are testing the cells' energy/power intake under a variety of conditions that will allow us to forecast the energy inputs during the race. Doing so, we can monitor future car performance and make adjustments as necessary.
Determine the types of data needed to make decisions about which loops to take or not to take
Build a model that determines which loop to take prior to the race starting
Build a model that determines which loop to take based on real-time race conditions as well as how to take the loop (speed, other factors).

Goals
Collaborate with firmware/hardware to schedule and perform testing on the solar cells for Spring 2023.
Take out solar array out on sunny/cloudy days (mimicking race conditions) and measure the energy input.
Build a model that forecasts and predicts energy input based on collected data for in-race measurement.
Additional Notes
Use any power pack from Canadian Tire (we don’t care where the power goes, it just needs to go somewhere).
