 Goals

  • Discuss the main process of receiving the data and how it will be processed.

  • Gain an understanding of how the CAN bus works and what tasks are involved in decoding the data.

  • Decide who takes on what part in the process, essentially, who works on the Receiver program.

 Action items

We need to get in touch with Mitch to ask about the .dbc files for decoding the CAN messages.

 Decisions

  1. Sahil will create arbitrary receiver functions for us which will blackbox our interaction with the CAN bus messages.
  2. We will utilize his functions to decode the message and store it in the Database for the dashboard.
