Companies that MIGHT offer 41-30 chromoly steel (need to call & verify):
KW:
Formex Metal - It looks like they only do machining, but they are a “leading supplier of automotive components”. They also offer tube forming—is this important to MSXIV?
Bell Service Group - Website notes “structural steel” (beams, plates, brackets) and “custom fabrication”, but no mention of tubing specifically.
Russel Metals - Their “products” page notes that “[their] steel distrbutors provide… structural and tubular products to customers nationwide”, so they may actually be able to supply steel tube. However, after digging deeper into the page I didn’t find chromoly/steel tubing anywhere—only welded & seamless pipe.
Companies that do NOT offer 41-30 chromoly steel (other companies researched):
Fischer Canada (stainless steel tubing only)
Amber Steel (no tubing noted on website)
ACL Steel (no tubing noted on website)
AGF Steel (no tubing noted on website; rebar/steel bars/wire mesh only)
Chim-Flex Tubing - Not at all what the name sounds like. They make stuff for chimneys.
Triple M Metal - Scrap metal recycling company.
Seaborn Manufacturing - Website has a fabricated-tube-bending page, but it looks like they only work with sheet metal, not tubing.
Trillium Metal - Metal stamping; not a tube supplier.
Canada Steel - No mention of chromoly—they work with stainless steel and aluminum.
Fastenal - Round steel tube available here, but clearly not chromoly, nor custom.
Armour Alloys - Stainless steel or aluminum tubes only, no chromoly; although “specialty” alloys are mentioned on the home page.
Golden Triangle Specialty Metals - No chromoly steel listed, although 41-40a amd 4140ht, as well as HR Pipe are.
