Team Structure

The chart below is a Midnight Sun Org Chart with all the leads with have on this team; each lead position represents a sub-team that you can join!
The team is broken down into 3 major sub-groups of: Operations/Business, Mechanical, and Electrical
Operations/Business
This sub-group takes care of running the team from a business standpoint, primarily focusing on how to obtain sponsors, marketing the team to sponsors and the overall community (IG & LinkedIn) and finance
Mechanical
This sub-group takes care of designing, manufacturing, and assembling the physical sub-systems on the car, as shown in the organization chart, they are a lot of different things to design so feel free to choose whichever one you’re interested in.
Electrical
This sub-group takes care of design all of the electrical systems that drive and control our vehicle (hardware), writing all the code that makes the car run (Python, C, RTOS) as well as developing a race strategy for our car through data analysis (think F1 strategy team!)
NO EXPERIENCE is required to join any of these teams, just ensure that you’re willing to put the work in to be brought up to speed so you can be a contributing member of your respective sub-team!
