Notes:

  • Discharge took place for ~1h at 7A load (0.7 C) - discharged until 10.5 V.

  • Increase in temperature of cells observed to be ~10°C

  • “Plateau” in discharge curve began around 11.09 V

Notes:

  • Discharge took place for ~70 min at 7A load (0.7 C) - discharged until 10 V.

  • Increase in temperature of cells observed to be ~9-10°C

  • “Plateau” in discharge curve began around 11.14 V

  • Near the end of the discharge curve, voltage readings were somewhat fluctuating (graph below), must determine why

NOTE: This module was tested at 2A (0.2 C) in order to try to match findings with specs provided by the company: https://mahaenergy.com/powerex-precharged-d-10-000mah-2-pack/

^ [Sidenote: use the battery application on the e-Load when testing! Keeps track of mAh, Wh and time elapsed as well as allowing for voltage cutoff]

Notes:

  • Discharge took place for 4h, 26 min at 2A load (0.2 C) - discharged until 10 V.

  • Discharged 8869 mAh (88.69% of module capacity) before cutoff - remaining ~11% likely due to the unidentified decrease in module voltage before testing

  • Increase in temperature of cells observed to be ~4°C

  • “Plateau” in discharge curve began around 12.2 V - about 0.6 V lower than indicated on Maha’s discharge curve
