Module Manufacturing Timeline & Plans
Modules are built in sequential order of steps weekly based on working session times, and tasks that cannot be finished during the working sessions will be assigned to members to work on throughout the week.
The steps referred to in this doc are found here: Module Step-by-Step Procedure
This page will have all relevant updates to where we currently are in terms of quantity of modules after it has been run through Donna
Please send updates of progress if working on modules throughout the week on the Mech-Battery-Box channel on Slack
Assembly Name | Quantity | Dependency |
---|---|---|
Soldered Voltage Taps | 24 Double ones (11 Thick, 13 thin) 60 Singles (56 thin, 4 thick)

Potted Busbar to Top Cell Holder | 14 |
|
Soldered SigmaClad Busbars | 13 |
|
Modules w/ Cells | 10 |
|
Spot Welded Modules | 5 with parallel connections done |

Total Modules | 1 |

Potting the top cell holders and soldering the voltage tap to busbars should be done throughout the weeks between working sessions whenever possible.
The updated cell voltage tracker can be seen here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C3MhkND7lfTybrjJ4YvUgX5Ml7Qa0hKz4aU-mdojsUQ/edit?usp=sharing
Placing the cells in the necessary order (steps 6-8) should be done throughout the week between working sessions depending on if we have the necessary materials (enough cells measured, and enough top and bottom plates)
The updated cell voltage tracker can be seen here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C3MhkND7lfTybrjJ4YvUgX5Ml7Qa0hKz4aU-mdojsUQ/edit?usp=sharing
Spot welding of the cells in the modules should take place whenever possible throughout the week.
The rest of this timeline will offer ~14 days for conditional forecasting and any needed adjustments/ delays to the timeline. Which I am expecting to happen.
