• The bearing housing cap is used at 4 different nodes:

  • Front and Rear UCA

  • Front and Rear LCA

• Since they are identical at each of those points, the max Fz between those 4 nodes will be used for each case to test the part

  • if it can withstand the largest force, than anything weaker than it should be fine

    • the max Fz always occurs at the LCA nodes

• The force occurs where the bearing wall interacts with the housing cap

• 1mm max node size
