Here is an attempt to complete the steering system's 3D kinematics and kinetics calculation.

 

The attempt was ultimately unsuccessful, and by stepping back and thinking about the situation, the worst-case scenario is when the entire loading on each node is axial to the rod end.

But considering the low load on the steering system, even if the entire load is on the axial component, a reasonable-sized rod end can still be chosen.
