UCA Tube Lengths?
There is an inconsistency between the old dynamics assembly and the new one made in S2020. Before we weld together the UCA, we need to ensure it is of the correct length. First, we need to check that the distance between the UCA node and the chassis is the same. Then, check the lengths of the UCA tubes (blue) and inserts (green) we actually have in the bay and see whether they match what’s in the old or new CAD. If they match the new CAD, it looks like we’ll have to make adjustments haha. If they match the old CAD, it looks like we’re good to manufacture, and the new CAD should be appropriately modified.
Old CAD:
New CAD:
New Dynamics S20:
UCA Tube End: 0.875” + 0.492”
UCA Tubes: 7.850”
New Dynamics Chassis to UCA Node (Brackets submerged): 11.077”
New Dynamics Chassis to Brackets Base to UCA Node: 11.405”
Old Dynamics:
Old Dynamics Chassis to UCA Node: 11.077”
UCA Arm: 7.850“
Tube End: 0.875” + 0.492”
