HW weekly update: everyone who finished onboarding is working on something now, main projects: BMS (AFEs for new members, Aden+Jun carrier), solar (to be testing, maybe solar sense, rn new members learn about solar), Controller Board breakouts, Driver Controls + Backup Camera. Todo in the near future: harnessing, soldering session
Going to schedule a time for Solar/MPPT testing to diagnose ongoing solar issues.
FW weekly update: ~10-15 ppl have finished onboarding and have been assigned tasks.
Telemetry is being worked on—issues with UART driver. Aryan will fix it today. We may need to purchase more XBees due to a version mismatch between our ones.
Tasks for the Bootloader and centre console have been handed outValidate battery test setup this week. Hopefully HV supply for next weekend??

A couple of new people reached out and mentioned they wanted to join, so planning on going over an overview of operations with them today
Working on Dean’s funding and WEEF (so far batteries and hardware has put in requests, but add in more if needed)!
Dean’s funding doesn’t seem to have any restrictions for what we can ask for per se, the request is more focused on the benefits of our project and innovations
Finish up a post for CAGIS
Brainstorm ideas for crowdfunding
Start reaching out to external sponsors
Dean’s Funding vs WEEF
Dean’s funding comes from dept of engineering Dean's Innovation Fund | Engineering | University of Waterloo (uwaterloo.ca)?
looking to fund “innovative” projects
WEEF comes from endowment fund that exists for engineering
Soft deadline for requests for funding (mid October)
WEEF is term by term
Dean’s funding is annual
