Team introduction

Established in 1988 at the University of Waterloo, the Midnight Solar Car Team has continued pursuing its mission to design and manufacture innovative solar vehicles that demonstrate the potential of renewable energy for a more sustainable future. In the summer of 2018, we competed at the American Solar Challenge, where Midnight Sun became the first-ever Canadian multi-occupant vehicle team to complete the ~3000km solar car race across the United States. 

With our next car, MS-XIV, we’re taking on the challenge of creating a car that is both energy-efficient and practical. We believe creating consumer-oriented solar powered vehicles is an important step in achieving a more sustainable future. Midnight Sun proudly represents our university at both the American Solar Challenge and World Solar Challenge.

• MSXII’s kickstarter was for the array, but what about ours? (i know it’s for money but we need a front of some sort like we did for MSXII)
