To provide you with some information about us, the Midnight Sun team has been designing and building solar cars for the past 33 years as well as being one of the largest student teams on the University of Waterloo campus.
We are currently manufacturing our next vehicle MSXV, and looking for machinists with a 5-axis CNC to help us manufacture a 5th rim for our car. We have the CAD and STEP files ready and we are willing to supply the material for it.

My name is Jamie and I am a member of the Midnight Sun Solar Car Team. I am reaching out today to discuss potential sponsorship opportunities between Midnight Sun and [COMPANY] for the upcoming season.
We are one of the largest student design teams that designs, builds, and competes in competitions such as the American Solar Challenge and the Formula Sun Grand Prix. During our last racing season, we competed at the American Solar Challenge and became the first Canadian multi-occupant vehicle team to complete a 3000km solar car race across the United States.
We are striving to push the boundaries of student innovation. And we can’t do this without the support of others. We are currently in need of machinists to help machine parts for our Rear Suspension and Steering systems of the car.
