Possible Changes
ASC reg. 8.5.B states that wires “branching off the main bus circuit must have properly sized fuses”. Currently the main fuse is between the positive terminal of the pack and a main pack relay. It must be clarified with ASC whether by “branching off the main bus circuit”, they are requiring us to have fuses after the main fuse to protect components. I asked Forest and he wasn’t 100% sure either.
If we do need to add more fuses, we would need a solar fuse and possibly a motor fuse as well. This page will be updated once we clarify with ASC what they mean in 8.5.B.
