  1. Create updated chassis model that is accurate to in-person chassis

  2. Run vehicle collision simulations to determine if there is a large difference in result when compared to using the ideal CAD chassis

  1. Review current vehicle collision setup and justify sims setup to increase accuracy

  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that prevent intended setup from solving

  1. Apply reinforcement solution to chassis model

  2. Run vehicle collision simulations to determine if solution will pass yield strength with SF of 2

  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that prevent intended setup from solving

Note: Current solution being investigated is an iterative approach that applies tubes to high stress areas.

  2. Determine and document implementation approach of reinforcement

  3. Account for adjustability to deal with inaccuracies in the Chassis

  4. Keep track of costs and masses of implementation method

  4. Do another iteration of sheet metal solution, but use a single sheet metal that is very similar to BP (bonded to all tubes), but make it out of steel instead of composites

  5. Setup detailed FEA review meeting with Mech Advisors
