General:

  • Acronym + Abbreviations page
  • Simulation tools for PCB layout (SI-PI, PowerDC, x-talk) (check with altium)
  • Looking at ways to increase assembly, design and implementation reliability → look for failure points
  • Board encapsulation and coating ← evaluate options and see whats effective plus feasible for rework needs [James CP]
  • Shipping everything to the correct respective person (e.g. DCDC+parts from josh to micah, other equipment from josh to liam)
  • Make summarized documentation for how to use A365 effectively

Board based list:

DCDC

  • Update PD/create a fan control board to power and PWM control power box fans and driver fans → also DCDC fan on heat sink
  • Evaluate options for fan heat sink on DCDC: maybe have IC with thermistor control on DCDC itself (similar to used on carrier), or have feedback on PD control fan
  • Test the DCDC transient analysis → micah has access to batteries and DC Load → need to write test plan and outline test points

Pedal

  • Write test plan to test noise sources to driver controls → specify all the noise sources we expect, frequencies and attenuation goals [Tanish]
  • Look into pedal having a different/modified measurement system for brake angle [Akshayan]

Steering

  • Look at driver controls mounting plan with Adrian from interiors

Center console

  • Look into measuring the temperature of raspberry pi then possibly implementing fan control (to save power) [Akshayan]

Precharge/MCI

  • Find better motor documentation → email mitsuba/nomura(vendor)
  • Discuss final fan choice with Kevin
  • Look into latch circuit simplification [James Jo]

AFEs

  • Evaluate switching to active balancing or using LTC6813 for using 2 AFEs instead of 3 → also evaluate current additions to cell monitoring → make a page with options [James jo]

Carrier

  • HV interlock loop → poll all HV boards for faults and isolations in B2B connections and open relays on carrier if necessary [Dheer]
  • Current sense board for validation → have shunt and kalvin connections to an ultrafit/headers for banana jacks - brian

Current Sense

  • follow up on central stores PCBs

Solar

  • Updated digikey cart for cost savings and only essentials (minus sample ICs)
  • Look into if energizing time correlates to power ratings on coil for solar relay
  • Figure out the ideal pot rotations on the MPPTs for predicted power out of the 6 and 5 series conditions [Tanish]

Charger

  • follow up with the purchase of elcon charger → with micah bai

Lights (driver + LED board)

  • Diffusing research or simulations for LED spacing on the current lights PCBs → what material are we using? Acrylic? [Renee]

Horn

  • Mounting + discussion with interiors about steering and mounting of horn and button to activate horn ← poke interiors about making decisions

  • Make sure we have spare outputs
  • Re-evaluating project power consumption of each board (breakdown front/rear) [james cp]
  • Pin identification with LED indication for front/rear (also updated silk)

  • Make sure that the reset loops issues have been solved
  • Verify the aux killswitch implementation is good to go

  • Research the IC used → organize meeting with chen to sort out details

Aux batteries

  • Define the aux packs+specs+vendor we will be using for horn and driver fans [max zhao]
  • Where will this be located? where will the fans be located?

Tutorial + Info sessions

  • James has to fill in general slide
  • Make a schedule week by week for who is leading and generating powerpoints on content
  • Make confluence directory for resources for ECE fundamentals → not teach
  • Make groups of new members and match with HW leads

HW Mockup

  • Accurate Cabling guide → car diagram for accurate harnessing so mockup can then be translated to the car James L
