We need to figure out the following:
What boards we want to send out, receive, assemble and validate
Who has time and resources next term for the above^
What resources can liam/josh? take from the bay
Our primary goal for the spring 2020 term is to validate and test every board as well as to have well defined and documented testing procedures to make testing and validation of new boards and rev a breeze in the fall.
Tools/Equipment
Fluke Multimeter (Yellow) and test probes
Agilent Multimeter (Orange) and test probes
Thermocouples
Keysight 34410A 6.5 digit benchtop DMM
Reflow Oven (if possible)
Solder paste, mini fridge, scraper, etc if possible
Heat gun for rework
Kapton Tape could help as well
Soldering iron x 2
Solder, flux as well, copper braid, solder tips, solder braid cleaner
Power Supplies
There is an Agilent one on the battery testing bench (not the high voltage one)
There is a large linear one under the electrical bench
The red and black alligator clips, or at least banana:alligator clips
Microscope if someone is willing to take care of it, and if they let us.
(low priority) Alligator clips
Light Meter - on the shelf near the battery bench
Tweezers
X-acto knife
Benchtop fans for soldering ventilation
Boards/Components
Controller Boards, parts, and stencils, we should have parts or 30.
The rev from JLC PCB with the pick and place panel
The rest of the board boxes above the electrical bench (have all assembled boards)
LEDs from lights box
Definitely get: center console, pedal and lights assembled boards + their boxes
Resistor/capacitor/IC boxes could save us money from having to buy them
Raspberry Pi 3B+, Micro SD Cards, etc.
Wire spools: 22AWG, 18AWG
Molex boxes (microfit + ultrafit + 2pin duraclicks) of connectors + crimps
SWD adapters + programmers (Grab box of firmware stuff)
Boxes with components from previous boards (e.g. box with lights board stuff)
MPPTs x2 (18-33V)
Chen’s aux charger board + stencil
Power supply to ultrafit for board power (might be attached to agilent supply)
Horn
Essentials:
Heat gun for rework
Agilent Power Supply
banana - alligator clips
ultra-fit power connection
Weller Soldering Iron
Solder, flux, copper braid, solder tips, brass sponge, solder paste, kapton tape, extra solder tip
Tweezers, needle nose pliers and Exactoknife
Controller Boards, parts, and stencil, we should have parts for 30
The rev from JLC PCB with the pick and place panel, and the solder paste scraper blade
MPPTs x2 (18-33V)
SWD adapters + programmers (Grab box of firmware stuff)
Raspberry Pi 3B+, Micro SD Cards, etc.
DC-DC Rev 1 box from on top of the electrical shelf (make sure it has the old board, an extra heatsink, push pins and module)
PEAK CAN-USB adapter
Small spool of 22 gauge wire (preferably two colours)
