The diameter of the tube that the airspeed was measured through was 30mm. This method of determining airflow is commonly used in HVAC duct air flow measurements.


Area of circle = (30mm / 2)2 x pi = 706.86mm2

Volume of air through module = 706.86mm2 x 6.1m/s = 15.52 m3/h

Volume of air through module = 706.86mm2 x 3.8m/s = 9.67 m3/h

Volume of air through module fan duct = 706.86mm2 x 6.5m/s = 16.54 m3/h

Volume of air through module fan duct = 706.86mm2 x 10.6m/s = 26.97 m3/h
