Page dedicated to larger outreach ventures to schools and events. No need to include a reflection for simple open houses or bay visits unless they're more than just a short presentation of the team.

On Feb 1, 2017 the team went to St Gabriel Catholic School in Cambridge to talk about energy, solar power, and Midnight Sun. Members Attended: Aaron Lam Matt Suski Alyssha Schneider Documents: 2017/02/01 St Gabriel 2017/02/01 St Gabriel Midnight Sun Solar Car Team.pptx What we learned: - Class was at the end of their energy unit; so we didn't need to talk about it that much
- Teaching aids were useful. We were asked not to bring the car due to the cold weather, but it would definitely be beneficial
- The presentation didn't start until 15 minutes after the alloted time, since they needed to set the students up in the room
- The teacher prepared the class by showing them the end of term video
- The students drew us pictures of "car designs". Quite the fun read; can be found in the outreach filing cabinet

Attended a school-hosted fair and set up a display with MSX. Members Attended: Aaron Lam Jayant Arora (Unlicensed) Documents: No documents What we did: - Small fair hosted solely by the school for their students. They had many booths set up for games and events
- Population was smaller than expected, and we didn't get too many opportunities to talk to people
- Most of the time, parents came by with their children to look - asking questions and looking at the car
- Car got hit with a basket ball. Ouch
- Made a couple of connections with parents and their relatives who work in sponsoring companies on the car. Told them to plug a good word for us.
